This is an exciting new adventure we are about to embark on, but we would be lying if we said we weren't afraid of anything.
Here are some of the fears I've been thinking about:
1. We will pack up our U-haul, with the help of friends and family, drive the 1400 miles to our new home, and have to unpack everything by ourselves. We will be exhausted, overwhelmed, excited, nervous, and we will be carrying heavy pieces of furniture and boxes with all of our possessions up stairs. (Maybe we should look for an apartment with an elevator)
2. Since we have only ever driven through the tip of New Hampshire on the toll-way, we have no idea what a good city or a good neighborhood is. Looking at craigslist apartments only gives us so many ideas.
3. I'm afraid that all the friends who say they will come visit, will never actually come. They will forget all about me and Jason, never even saying our names again once we drive away.
Now I know fear is silly, and I fully believe that God will provide for us, I just wanted to be honest with you.
