Jason and I have been traveling together for almost five years.
I wanted to give a recap on the vacations and trips we have been on together.
March 2007
Barely a month in to our relationship we road-tripped to the Grand Canyon with my brother Travis, and Jason's brother Josh. We loaded up the suburban with camping gear, packed the goober, and hit the road. Have you ever had goober? How bizarre, and incredibly convenient. Our first stop was Denver Colorado. We had a great time walking around and finding random things to do in the city.

We drove through the night to the Grand Canyon. A very angry and frustrated Travis put the tent up in almost pitch-blackness. A couple of sad flashlights helped with the
tenting frustration. The tent is a big 7 person tent, with poles, and screens, and do-hickeys I could only dream about. It's my parents, and after that experience I went out and bought a simple "4 person" (sleeps 2 comfortably, 4 would be sleeping on top of each other) tent at a garage sale. I have never looked back. We loved being in the canyon, we spent a day just hiking 12 miles round trip. We grilled all of our meals, and payed the $1.75 for a 3 minute shower. It was a dream!

| This was SERIOUSLY how the pizza came out of the wrapper. Then we grilled it over a fire. |

While sitting around the fire one afternoon we were looking at the map and decided that Las Vegas was too close to pass up. We dialed my father, Randy, and he booked us a hotel room. We spent one day in Vegas and then drove straight back to Minnesota. It was a great trip. If I could change one thing, it would have been my maturity level. I was way too selfish of my time with Jason and it's probably part of the reason his brother Josh had a bad taste in his mouth about me.

Fall 2007
Jason and I went to my parents cabin for a weekend. We road-tripped it up to Duluth and did all of the sightseeing you can do there. Great weekend!

| Look at that face. This might have been the exact moment I fell head-over-heels for this kid. |
